Free Radicals: Pt. 2. Radical Harder E-mail

Well, it's nearing mid June, which means the draft and free agency are just weeks away. Also the Stanley Cup is over. That's kinda important.

Now normally I'd like to look at potential draft targets, but...well there's that whole not drafting for like the first bajillion picks, so that just gets depressing (also Hayley at M&G is doing a fantastic job already). So here I'm looking at the UFA list for this summer and who we could potentially target off of it. My criteria? All forwards (because Lord knows we don't need anymore defensemen) who scored 19 or more points. Why 19? Because Nystrom scored that many and it's as good a number as any. So without further ado, here's numbers 29-20.

If he couldn't produce on the Caps, how the hell is he going to get points with us?

Somehow I just don't see him coming back. Plus, age is not something we need. At all.

Remember when he was signed to give the Sharks “grit” so they could make the Cup Finals? Heh. Yeah.

Another guy about to retire. Thank god Wellwood took over the fat jokes a few years in advance.

Jon Sim: the slightly effective version. Actually I wouldn't object to Richard Park. At least too strongly.

Right now the Flames are hated by very few teams. This could up that number! Anger all around!

There is no way he's either a) not retiring or b) not signing with the stars.
